Multiple Reciprocating Systems

The use of multiple compressor and multiple reciprocating systems systems is very common place and is probably the best way to satisfy a large refrigeration load. Whether utilising Bitzer or Copeland compressors, Beacon are able to provide a packaged unit to meet your requirements.

High temperature, Low temperature, or dual temperature are available, utilising whatever quantity of compressors best suits.  Whether you require a multi compressor pack for internal plant room location or a packaged unit to incorporate receiver and condenser, either option is catered for at Beacon.

Compressor cycling for capacity control is regularly employed, although, alternatively we can provide suction unloader style capacity control heads or digital stepless capacity regulation to fine tune the refrigeration capacity.

We have standard “modular” style built packs or we can individually design and build a pack to suit your site specific requirements. We undertake all steel manufacturing in our dedicated welding bays using in-house coded welders. This gives us the capability to build our own base frames and also steel header assemblies.

All Beacon units are certified and CE marked under approval by our Notified Body – HPi Verification Services Ltd (1521). As part of this CE marking process, each unit is issued with a unique serial number allowing easy identification and warranty traceability. Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU) manuals are available upon request which will include Final Pressure Test Certificates and Declarations of Conformity. A PED manual is mandatory for all Category IV rated units. This manual will also include both a Certificate of Conformity and a PED assessment report issued by our Notified Body. These manuals meet and observe EN 378-2:2008+A2:2012 as a harmonised standard.
